Snow figures contest takes place in Internal Forces Command of Russia's MVD in Seversk
The fourth snow figures contest took place in the Regional Siberian Internal Forces Command of Russia's MVD (Town of Seversk).
A proud sphinx took stand at the territory of the Command, and next to it - a huge ferocious bear. Lowering its head and thrusting its tusks, it seems ready to attack a viewer. Several figures are devoted to the symbol of 2012 - the dragon.
Almost each snow figure is a piece of art. The most interesting point is that the authors of these works are not professional artists, but called up soldiers who had never had anything to do with snow sculptures in their civil life.
The winners of the competition are Junior Sergeant Vladimir Kolesnikov and Private Artem Khukhley who created a plastic image of the snow dragon, and the automobile company military men Dmitry Borgoyakov and Vladimir Glushok who recreated a snow army fuel truck and a UAZ in full size. The winners and runners-up were awarded diplomas and prizes.
